On January 16, Taiwan’s friendly Mr. Yok Mu-ming, the New Party Chairman, and his entourage made a special trip to visit Sanxiang Impression Co., Ltd., and had amiable and complete exchanges and discussions with Mr. Huang Hui, the Lifetime Honorary President of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai & the founder of Sanxiang Impression, Mr. Xu Wenzhi, the Chairman and General Manager of Sanxiang Impression, and Mr. Chen Jinsong, the Director of Sanxiang Impression for cross-strait corporate development and entrepreneurial responsibilities. The atmosphere of the talks was warm and vigorous, highlighting the deep affection between Taiwan and the Mainland as one family.

At the start of the new year in 2019, Mr. Yok Mu-ming and his entourage made a special trip from Taiwan to Shanghai to participate in the “Work Together to Promote National Rejuvenation, Achieve the Goal of Peaceful Reunification, and the Responsibility of Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs” forum sponsored by the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, and he delivered a keynote speech. On November 13, 2018, the commemorative meeting for the 40th anniversary of releasing the Message to Compatriots in Taiwan was held in Hong Kong. Yok Mu-ming, Taiwan’s New Party Chairman, was invited to attend the meeting, and stated in his speech that commemorating the 40th anniversary of releasing the Message to Compatriots in Taiwan was of great significance. “The practice of the previous 40 years has told all compatriots that peace is of the utmost importance and that development in any field is difficult to achieve without peace. Over 40 years, it has been precisely because of peace that the two sides have changed from peaceful exchanges to peaceful development. To a certain extent, the development will surely bring peaceful reunification. The Chinese nation will speed up on its road toward rejuvenation.” At this forum, Mr. Yok Mu-ming stated that although the two sides have been separate for nearly 70 years, the exchanges have been increasing during the past 40 years. He believes that peace was the foundation, development was the process, and unity was the goal. He said “We are all Chinese people. No matter where we are, we should work hard for the peaceful reunification of the two sides and for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

After the forum finished, Mr. Yok Mu-ming made a special trip to visit Sanxiang Impression, accompanied by Mr. Huang Hui during the whole process. The leaders who accompanied him for his visit also included Mr. Xie Donghai, the President of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, Mr. Xiong Zijie, the President of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan, Mr. Yao Shipeng, the Director of the Zhejiang Office of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan, Mr. Peng You, the Secretary General of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, and Mr. Liang Zhizhong, the Party Branch Secretary of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

Mr. Yok Mu-ming shared his own experiences, his ideas about family inheritance, and his expectations for cross-strait economic and trade development. He stated that he would further promote cooperation and exchanges between entrepreneurs on both sides of the strait and promote close cooperation between the two sides in terms of the economies, culture, and trade.

He greatly appreciated the positive response from Sanxiang Impression, led by Mr. Huang Hui, concerning social responsibility, and resolved to make positive contributions to economic construction in his hometown of Hunan, as well as poverty alleviation, relief, and charity, that will continue for many years. He congratulated Mr. Huang Hui and Sanxiang Impression on winning the Outstanding Contribution Award for Hometown Construction presented by the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

Mr. Xu Wenzhi, the NPC deputy of Shanghai City, the Vice-chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Chairman and General Manager of Sanxiang Impression, introduced Sanxiang Impression’s dual main business strategy of “culture + real estate”, and also introduced the developmental concepts of Sanxiang regarding “enabling real estate development by green technology”, as well as “creating a cultural boutique IP with the spirit of ingenuity”. Mr. Xu said that Sanxiang is looking forward to intensively cooperating with more quality enterprises from Taiwan in terms of cultural creation, the economy, and trade, in addition to making greater contributions towards promoting cross-strait cultural and economic development.

While maintaining the healthy and stable development of its enterprise, Sanxiang Impression has actively fulfilled its corporate social responsibilities, shared its developmental achievements, and made contributions to the best of its ability in terms of charitable efforts for public welfare, social care, targeted poverty alleviation, and other endeavors. Mr. Huang Hui said that enterprises should not pursue economic interests as their only objective, but should also actively practice corporate social responsibility. He said, “In the future, we look forward to cooperating with Taiwanese enterprises, working together to promote cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, and boosting cross-strait economic development, with our common wisdom, passion, and perseverance.
